Parents
The opportunities for parent involvement at Fredericksburg Academy are varied and rewarding. Academy faculty, staff and coaches consider parents key members of the team, supporting their child’s success in tangible and intangible ways. Whether it is web reading with a first-grader, working on the holiday parade float, manning a booth at the Fall Carnival, preparing Friday hot dog lunches or helping with the After Prom party, parents provide expertise, enthusiasm, and resources in areas which enrich the Academy experience for our students. Find out more and download the Parent-Faculty Association Handbook on the Parent-Faculty Association page.
Fredericksburg Academy places a strong emphasis on communication between home and school. To that end, this page contains a variety of ways to obtain or offer information that can help make your child's school experience as smooth as possible. Do you need a lunch order form? Do you need to update your phone number or other contact information in the school's database? Are you not sure if an outfit your child wants to wear is appropriate under the dress code? Does your child need to take medication, and you need to get in touch with the nurse? Is there a question that you are not sure about?
Also, please make sure to subscribe to FA Weekly, the Academy's weekly online newsletter, which is emailed out to subscribers and published on the website each Friday during the school year. FA Weekly contains important notices and information, so it is essential for families to subscribe.
