From the Nurse

Fredericksburg Academy's school nurse, Cathy Chamberlain, can be reached by phone at (540) 898-0020 ext. 205 or by e-mail at cchamberlain@fredericksburgacademy.org. Mrs. Chamberlain's office is in the Lower School building (first floor).

All medications must be dispensed by Fredericksburg Academy staff. No student may keep medications (including prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs and vitamins) in his or her possession at school.

Fredericksburg Academy staff cannot administer any type of medication without a signed physician's note. This includes Tylenol, Motrin, and all other types of over-the-counter medications, ointments and creams. Please click here to download the Request and Authorization for Administration of Medications form. This form was also included in the summer mailing. It must be completed in order for the Fredericksburg Academy staff to administer medications to students.
