China (Spring 2020)
Surrounded by cypress trees in Beijing’s Temple of Heaven Park, you can forget that you are in a city of 21 million people. It’s a common feeling in China—the tranquility of a manicured palace or the tradition of a tea ceremony can make you feel worlds away from the skyscrapers and traffic din of the 21st-century just outside. The experience of this tour blends ancient and modern history in what is now one of the world’s most dynamic countries.
Italy and Greece (Spring 2021)
Italy and Greece practically own the early history of Western civilization, which becomes vividly clear as you walk through the ruins of the Roman Forum and the Acropolis in Athens. In Vatican City, crane your neck in awe inside St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. In Delphi, look deep into Greece’s mythological past.
