Welcome, Friends and Falcons,
When I first set foot on the Fredericksburg Academy campus in 1996, just four years after our founding, I felt at home almost immediately. After I walked the halls and observed students and teachers in action, I found myself wishing I had been able to attend a school like this one.
It has been a privilege to call FA my second home, first as Athletic Director, then as Dean of Students, Head of Middle School, and now as Head of School. I am proud to say that even as the Academy has grown over the years, we have remained true to our mission to nurture the potential of each individual student. Every day, I am amazed by the work being done by students and teachers in our classrooms, science labs, art studios, theater, and on our fields and courts.
I have had the honor of seeing each of Fredericksburg Academy's 500+ alumni graduate, and I continue to marvel at the paths they forge beyond FA. While there is no telling where the futures of our current students will lead or what the world will require of them decades from now, I can say with absolute certainty that they will be prepared to navigate their adult lives with poise, confidence, and independence thanks to the incredible foundation they are are able to build at Fredericksburg Academy.
We're thrilled to give you a glimpse of the wonder we see unfold daily on this website and would be honored to see you on campus. I personally invite you to come see what it means to be a Falcon!
Go Falcons!
