On a September day nearly 30 years ago, the dream of a group of committed parents was realized when Fredericksburg Academy opened its doors for its very first day of school.

The pioneering spirit of our founding families continues to drive us. And just like that first year, none of our students’ life-changing learning experiences would be possible without the support of the parents  and others who give so generously of their time, talent, and treasure. There are two primary volunteer parent groups that enrich the FA experience.

Parent-Faculty Association (PFA)

The Parent-Faculty Association (PFA) is at the heart of some of our most beloved FAmily traditions, including the Fall Carnival and Holiday Breakfast. All parents are members and have a standing invitation to help with any/all PFA events! 

FA Boosters

FA Boosters supports Fredericksburg Academy's athletic and fine arts programs. This dedicated group of volunteers coordinates a number of special events throughout the year, such as the Homecoming tailgate and Dinner and a Show, and sells spirit items and concessions at FA games and performances.
